The 15 year-old boy patient complained of delayed permanent teeth eruption The
authors found multiple dentigerous cysts involving many permanent teeth through
radiographic findings.
We observed as follows :
1. Most of primary teeth were remained and only six permanent teeth erupted. Cystic
lesions were found around the crown of impacted mandibular lateral incisors, canines 1st
molars and maxillary right lateral incisor, canine throught radiographs. It was shcum
that there were teeth anomalies of mandibular second premolars, taurodontism of
maxillary first molars, dilacerated roots of many teeth and ectopic eruption of maxillary
lea second premolar and mandibular right first molar.
2. Pediatric clinial, laboratory, radiographic findings and growth and thyroid hormone,
tests were non specific.
3. Specific hereditary characteristics were not found in his families.
4. Tooth eruption progressed after marsupialization of cyst, but serial observation is
required.
